At Home with DNA: Free Q&A Thursday 23 April 2020

My colleague, Regina Negrycz of Ancestral Beginnings will be answering all your DNA-related questions during a free “At Home with DNA” Q&A session via Zoom* on Thursday, 23 April 2020 at 3:00 p.m. Eastern time. Regina Negrycz, Q&A facilitator
Regina Negrycz began researching her family history when she was eight years old. She wears many hats for her local genealogy society, is a member of seven other societies, serving as a proofreader on one of those societies. Regina’s interest in DNA has earned her a teaching role in Salt Lake City each December at the Salt Lake Christmas Tour. She recently spoke at the Genetic Genealogy of Ireland Conference in Dublin, Ireland in October, 2019.  Regina has also published two DNA quick guides with Family Roots Publishing.  Her love of city directories has led to the acquisition of approximately 1,000 city directories which are being documented in a unique database. Regina is on the board for a Friends Group for a future library in her community. She runs the website Ancestral Beginnings.

Lisa A. Alzo, M.F.A., is a freelance writer, instructor, and internationally recognized lecturer specializing in Eastern European research and nonfiction writing. Colleen Fitzpatrick, PhD, is an internationally recognized forensic genealogist, the founder of Identifinders International.  As a world traveler and multi-lingual, Colleen specializes in international cases. She has researched in over 50 countries, assists nonprofits, military organizations, attorneys, and law enforcement with cold case work, forensic identification, and with locating hard-to-find individuals.  Colleen has appeared in hundreds of domestic and international newspapers and magazines and on international radio and television programs.
