Celebrating Six Years of Blogging

It’s hard to believe it has been six years since I started this blog.  My goal was to write about my two favorite subjects–writing and genealogy.  I wasn’t sure what I would write about or if anyone would even read it.  Six years later, I know that there are many out there who do read my posts.  I have enjoyed sharing my “Sojourn in Slovakia,” and running the “Fearless Females” writing prompt series during the month of March and sharing my research and writing goals each January.  I’ve also enjoyed participating in some blog carnivals, and other special blogging series.  However, I must confess that I often still find myself wondering what I should write about.

This year I have not posted as often as I would have liked to–life happens and I have been focusing on other things.  I hope that I will be able to post on a more regular basis during the second half of 2012.

I would like to thank all of my followers and those who have posted comments.   Thanks for coming along on my journey!

  1. Lisa Dahling! Why it seems just like yesterday when I took you to school, holding your little . . oh. Sorry, that was my oldest son I was thinking about.

I am going to celebrate your 6 years of blogging by whacking a pinata in my backyard, wearing a bathing suit with the sprinklers running because it is 106 here in Stockton and it would look silly if I were wearing my red footed sock-monkey pajamas.

    xxxxoooo
